Al op jonge leeftijd creëerde singer-songwriter Alice een soort music-hall-stijl. Haar nummers weifelen tussen hedendaagse folk en art-pop, zitten vol beeldspraak en klinken als vrolijke weemoed.
Plaats haar gerust ergens tussen Judee Still en Aldous Harding met een vleugje McCartney. Eens je proeft, wil je vast nog een stukje. Op TAZ brengt Alice nummers van haar eerste studio-album A Song with the Title of Lunch Bells, uitgebracht op het label Mokuhi Sonorities in oktober 2025.

Singer-songwriter since she was small, Alice bathes in a music-hall kinda zip. She weaves her songs intricately between contemporary folk and art-pop, warbling her lyrics, swollen with pictures, into melodies of cheerful melancholy.
Nestled somewhere between Judee Sill and a McCartney-esque fantasia, bearing some semblance to Aldous Harding perhaps, she’ll have you trailing her influences, and surely, you’ll have another slice.
She'll be singing songs from her first studio album A Song with the Title of Lunch Bells, out on Mokuhi Sonorities in October 2025.
